Getting started

The basics of how to enquire and what to expect.

All enquiries are handled via WhatsApp or email never through a web form. Tap the WhatsApp button on any page, or email us at info@pfukanicashloans.co.za with the amount and term you're considering. We'll reply with the next steps and a list of the documents we need.
Yes. Enquiries and written quotations are completely free and carry no obligation. You only begin paying once a credit agreement is signed and funds have been disbursed.
Most applications are finalised within 1–2 business days, provided all documents are submitted promptly and no further verification is needed. See the How It Works page for a step-by-step breakdown of timelines.
Our primary channel is WhatsApp and email for your convenience, but you're welcome to visit our offices at Stand No. 601, Maphata Village, Giyani, 0826. Please message or call ahead so we can arrange a suitable time.

Eligibility & documents

Who can borrow, and what you need to provide.

You need three documents: (1) 6 months of official bank statements, (2) a valid South African ID (green barcoded book or smart card), and (3) your latest payslip or proof of income. Full guidance is on the Documents page.
You must be at least 18 years old, a South African citizen or permanent resident, have a regular verifiable income, and not be under debt review, administration, or sequestration. Full eligibility criteria are on the Loans page.
Yes. The National Credit Act requires us to conduct a credit check and affordability assessment before approving any loan. This is to protect you from borrowing more than you can reasonably repay.
Talk to us first. We may accept alternative proof of income such as business bank statements or invoices in place of a payslip. The affordability assessment still applies, but the documents used to demonstrate income can vary.
Yes, provided the grant or pension is your regular income and the affordability assessment shows you can comfortably cover the proposed repayment from it. Your bank statements will show the regular deposits needed to verify this.
Under the National Credit Act, we cannot grant new credit to a consumer who is under debt review. If you are under debt review and need help with your existing debts, contact your debt counsellor or the National Credit Regulator on 0860 627 627.

Loan terms & costs

Amounts, interest, fees, and how we calculate them.

From R200 up to R10,000. The exact amount depends on your affordability assessment. First-time borrowers typically start between R200 and R3,000, with limits increasing as we see consistent repayments.
1-month, 2-month, and 3-month terms. The shorter the term, the less interest you pay overall. The 2-month option is our most popular because it balances affordability with total cost.
Interest is capped by the National Credit Act and disclosed in your written quotation before you sign anything. We never charge interest or fees above the NCA limits. The exact rate depends on the loan amount and term.
Any interest and fees we charge a once-off initiation fee, a monthly service fee are within the NCA limits and fully disclosed in your written quotation. We do not charge application fees, document processing fees, or any other upfront cost before approval.
Yes. as with any credit, you pay back the principal plus interest and lawful fees. The full total is disclosed in your written quotation before you sign, so there are no surprises. If the total cost is uncomfortable, we can reduce the amount, shorten the term, or you can choose not to proceed.
No. We never ask you to surrender your ID, bank card, or any document as security for a loan. All loans are unsecured and based purely on affordability.
If credit insurance is available, it is entirely optional you are never required to take it to be approved. If you do opt in, the premium is disclosed in your quotation and included in the total cost of credit.

Repayment & settlement

How you pay us back, and what happens if circumstances change.

Repayments are collected by debit order from the bank account you nominate. You agree on a collection date upfront, and the debit order runs automatically on that date each month until the loan is repaid.
In most cases yes, if you ask us before the new date arrives. Contact us via WhatsApp or email as early as possible to arrange a new collection date that aligns with your pay cycle.
Yes. Under section 125 of the National Credit Act, you may settle your loan in full at any time before the agreed term. Interest is recalculated to the settlement date, and we charge no penalty for early settlement.
Contact us before the payment date if you foresee difficulty silence turns a manageable problem into a serious one. If a payment is missed, we may charge default interest and lawful collection costs, and the missed payment may be reported to credit bureaux. We will always try to work out a solution first.
Talk to us early. We can explore rescheduling a payment date, restructuring the repayment plan, or referring you to a registered debt counsellor. In some cases, part of the debt can be written off to help you recover. See the Responsible Lending page for details.
Yes. As a registered credit provider, we must report payment behaviour to credit bureaux. Consistent on-time repayments improve your credit profile; missed or late payments may negatively affect your score and your ability to borrow in future.
Only if your existing loans are fully repaid and you pass a new affordability assessment. We do not top up or "roll over" existing loans, and we never encourage borrowing more to repay existing debt.
