The seven steps

01

Review the requirements

~5 minutes

Check the 1, 2, and 3-month loan options on the Loans page and make sure you have the three required documents ready: 6 months of bank statements, a valid SA ID, and your latest payslip.

02

Contact us

Same day

Message us on WhatsApp or send an email to info@pfukanicashloans.co.za. Tell us the amount and term you're considering we'll confirm next steps and answer any questions.

03

Submit documents securely

1 hour

Send your bank statements, SA ID, and payslip through our verified WhatsApp or email channels only. Never upload documents through any website ours has no upload forms. See the Documents page for detailed guidance.

04

Affordability assessment

2–4 hours

We conduct mandatory identity verification, credit checks, and an affordability assessment as required by the National Credit Act. We review your documents carefully to confirm that the proposed repayment is realistic for your income.

05

Receive your written quotation

Same day

We send you a full written quotation showing the principal amount, all interest, all fees, the monthly instalment, and the total amount repayable. This is your opportunity to review the numbers calmly and ask questions before committing.

06

Review and sign

At your pace

Read the credit agreement at your own pace. Sign only when every clause is clear and you're fully comfortable with the terms. If anything is confusing, ask us first we'd rather take longer than have you sign something you don't fully understand.

07

Disbursement and repayments

1–2 business days

Funds are transferred via EFT to your nominated bank account. Your monthly debit orders then run on the agreed date each month until the loan is fully repaid. You'll receive a copy of the signed agreement for your records.

After you sign

Once the funds are in your account, here's what to expect on an ongoing basis:

Monthly instalments

Your debit order collects automatically on the agreed date.

Statement on request

Ask for a statement any time to see your balance and payment history.

Early settlement

Pay off early anytime interest recalculated, no penalty.

Open communication

Talk to us early if you foresee difficulty we'll work with you.

How long does each step take?

Timelines depend on how quickly documents are provided and how promptly you respond. Here's what to typically expect:

Phase Typical duration What slows it down
Enquiry & document submission Minutes to a few hours Unclear or missing documents
Affordability assessment 2–4 hours Bank verification delays
Quotation & signature Same day Your review time
Disbursement (EFT) 1–2 business days Bank cut-off times and weekends

Common questions during the process

What if I don't have all three documents?

Talk to us first. We may be able to work with an alternative form of proof of income, or advise on where to obtain missing statements. Without the core documents, though, we cannot complete the mandatory affordability assessment.

Can I change the amount or term after enquiring?

Yes. Up until you sign the credit agreement, you can adjust either the amount or the term. We'll reissue the quotation with updated figures.

What happens if my application is declined?

We'll tell you the reason, and if it's something you can fix (such as a missing document or a short-term credit issue), we'll explain how. You're welcome to reapply once your circumstances change.

Is there any cost to enquire or receive a quotation?

No. Enquiries and written quotations are completely free and carry no obligation. You only start paying once a credit agreement is signed and funds have been disbursed.
